The presence of God is my constant source of peace
During a crisis, I may wonder if I'll ever again be free of worry and stress. Then, as I become quiet and allow my total focus to be on the presence of God, I experienced the peace of God in the immediate relief that my awareness of this peace brings to me.
What I have discovered is more than just a few moments of peace during a difficult time. I have discovered that peace is my constant reality because God within me is my constant source of peace.
I don't want to think about what would have happened if I had not taken that moment to connect to my inner peace on a conscious level. I do want to remember what happened because I did take that moment: the experience was one of instant relief that helped me make it through the challenge.
