We all need healing at one level or another. After I have prayed to be healed of some negative condition of mind or body, I may not notice immediate results. Yet I know that prayer by prayer, I am applying layers of healing to both my body and soul.

My prayer may be an affirmation such as this one: "God's healing light and love flow through me now. I am being healed--mind and body".

This is the truth about me: "Divine life does flow through me at all times".

Through my life-affirming prayers and affirmations, I send messages of healing to every cell in my body. The response to the healing power of God is renewed life. "As I envision my body bathed in the healing light of God, I am visualizing the healing that is taking place".
